BrandForge · Reseller Guide

Set up BrandForge as a reseller

Everything you need to get your Godmode workspace running and connected to your own WHMCS, end to end — no support ticket required.

Time: ~30 minutes You'll need: WHMCS 8.x admin access Result: orders in WHMCS automatically provision BrandForge workspaces
Part A

Set up your Godmode workspace

Your account, brand and plans — all inside Godmode.

1

Create your account

https://brandforge.software/register

Register your reseller account and sign in — this becomes the home for your brand, your packages, and your WHMCS connection.

BrandForge Sign Up form, Personal Details step
Sign Up — step 1 of 3, Personal Details

On the third step, Reseller Type, select Model 1 — Bring Your Own Billing. It's the only model that generates the Godmode API key and WHMCS module used in the rest of this guide, and it can't be changed after you sign up.

Sign Up — step 3 of 3, Reseller Type: choose Model 1 · Bring Your Own Billing
2

Customize your branding

Godmode → Branding

One page, four tabs — set this up before you send anyone a link:

TabWhat you set there
Identity & ColorsYour brand name and primary/accent colors
LogosLight-mode logo, dark-mode logo, and favicon
EmailThe sending name/address your clients see in emails
DomainOptional — point a custom domain at your workspace

3

Build your packages

Godmode → Packages → + Add New

Packages are the plans you sell — you'll link each one to a WHMCS product in Part C, so it's worth naming them the way you want customers to see them.

⚠️ Always create packages here in Godmode first. The WHMCS sync in Part C only pulls packages from Godmode into WHMCS — there's no reverse sync. A product created directly in WHMCS (even inside the BrandForge product group) never becomes a Godmode package and can't be provisioned.

Part B

Connect WHMCS to Godmode

Give Godmode read-only access to your WHMCS domain pricing.

1

Create an API role with the required permissions

WHMCS Admin → Configuration (⚙) → System Settings → API Credentials → Roles → Add New Role

Name the role brandforge and enable exactly these nine permissions — nothing more is required:

PermissionWhat it's forFound under

GetTLDPricingFetch domain TLD pricesDomains
GetRegistrarsFetch connected domain registrarsDomains
GetClientsSearch / find clientsClient
AddClientCreate a new clientClient

WHMCS Role Management, Orders tab

WHMCS Role Management, System tab
System — GetCurrencies

If a permission isn't where this table says, use the search box at the top of the role permissions page — category names shift slightly between WHMCS versions.

2

Generate your API credential

WHMCS Admin → Configuration (⚙) → System Settings → API Credentials → Add New Credential

Assign the brandforge role you just created, then generate. WHMCS shows an Identifier and a Secret — copy both immediately, the Secret is shown only once.

Assign the brandforge role, then click Generate
3

Allowlist Godmode's IP addresses

WHMCS Admin → Configuration (⚙) → General Settings → Security

Add all three IPs to both fields below — requests are otherwise blocked before they reach your new role.

Trusted Proxies

63.185.104.205
3.77.134.211
94.130.201.124

API IP Access Restriction

94.130.201.124

Both fields accept one IP per line — add these alongside any IPs already listed, don't replace them
4

Paste your WHMCS credentials into Godmode

Godmode → integrations → WHMCS Integration → Configuration

Enter your WHMCS Base URL, API Identifier and API Secret from Step 2, then click Connect WHMCS.

  • Turn on Auto-create client accounts in WHMCS if you want Godmode to create a matching WHMCS client automatically the first time someone orders.
ℹ Godmode only ever reads TLD pricing from WHMCS — it's never used for authentication or customer data.

5

Sync your domain pricing

Godmode → WHMCS Integration → Price Cache

Click Sync Now. Godmode pulls TLD pricing from WHMCS and re-checks it automatically every 30 minutes after that.

6

Generate your Godmode API key

Same page → Godmode API Key section

Click Generate API Key and copy it — this is what the WHMCS module will use to talk back to Godmode in Part C. Keep it secret; you won't need it anywhere in WHMCS's own API settings.

Install & configure the WHMCS module

Bring your Godmode packages into WHMCS as real, sellable products.

1

Download & install the module

Download the module and upload its modules/servers/brandforge and modules/addons/brandforge folders into your WHMCS installation's modules/ directory.

📖 Full install steps and troubleshooting are in the module's README — this page won't repeat them.
2

Configure the addon

WHMCS Admin → Configuration (⚙) → System Settings → Addon Modules → BrandForge Package Sync → Configure

  • Godmode API URL — https://brandforge.software
  • Godmode API Key — the key you generated in Step 6
  • Access Control — tick Full Administrator

Click Save Changes.

3

Run One-Click Setup

WHMCS Admin → Addons dropdown → BrandForge Package Sync

Click Run One-Click Setup. This creates a WHMCS server record, pulls every package from your Godmode workspace, and creates a matching WHMCS product for each one — fully linked, in one pass.

↔️ This only runs Godmode → WHMCS. Whenever you add or edit a package later, make the change in Godmode (Part A, Step 3) and come back here to click Sync All — don't create the product directly in WHMCS, it won't sync back.

Finish each product's setup in WHMCS

WHMCS Admin → Configuration (⚙) → System Settings → Products/Services → open a BrandForge product → Edit

  • Pricing tab — set what you'll actually charge for this plan, per billing cycle and currency.
WHMCS Edit Product, Pricing tab with recurring prices per currency
Pricing — enable the billing cycles and currencies you want to sell
  • Module Settings tab — confirm Module Name is set to BrandForge (One-Click Setup sets this automatically). The Godmode API URL/Key and brand fields below it are usually pre-filled too — leave them unless you want a per-product override. Also check the auto-setup option at the bottom: it's usually set to automatically setup when you manually accept a pending order, which is exactly why AcceptOrder was one of the permissions in Step B1.

Link the package back in Godmode

Copy the Product ID shown next to the package in the Addons → BrandForge Package Sync table, then:

Godmode → Packages → edit the package → WHMCS Integration tab

Paste it into WHMCS Product ID and click Update Package.
